Ghaziabad:– RLG India, part of Munich-headquartered Reverse Logistics Group(RLG), a leading global service provider of comprehensive reverse logistics solutions,announced the launch of Clean to GreenTMOn Wheels- thelatest version of the company’s flagship campaign, Clean to GreenTM (C2G).
The latest awareness and collection programme would cover 110 cities and 300 towns, and touch over four million citizens across the country. Under the initiative, nine collection vehicles would travel across cities and towns in the country and collect 5500 MT of e-waste from end-users while conducting awareness activities amongst school students, corporate bodies, bulk consumers, retailers, members of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), informal sector, and inhealthcare camps.
The campaign would begin simultaneously in New Delhi and Jammu in the North; Kolkata, Guwahati & Ranchi in the East; Ahmedabad in the West; and Bangalore, Chennai & Hyderabad in the Southern part of the country. The collection vehicles, accompanied by several ground teams, would follow a set beat plan; the ground teams would facilitate the collection of e-waste from end-users while conducting over 1,145 promotional and awareness activitiesusing social media, Clean to Green portal, radio, and classified and media releases.
On ground, C2G on Wheels intends to cover 326 schools, 188 RWAs, 134 office clusters/bulk consumers, 176 retailers, 156 informal sectors, and approximately 4 healthcare camps.
