About us

A social impact organisation built on evidence

Ms. Radhika Kalia, President, Clean to Green Society

Message from our President

Welcome to Clean to Green Society.

At Clean to Green, we believe that meaningful and lasting sustainability can be achieved only when people, communities, businesses, institutions and governments come together with a shared sense of responsibility and a common purpose.

The environmental challenges before us are complex and interconnected. From the growing generation of e-waste and plastic waste to resource depletion, changing consumption patterns and the need for more responsible production, addressing these challenges requires more than awareness alone. It requires collective action, innovation, strong partnerships and solutions that can create measurable impact at scale.

Our journey at Clean to Green is founded on a simple but powerful belief: every individual has a role to play in creating a cleaner and more sustainable future. We therefore work to bridge the gap between awareness and action by developing programmes that engage communities, empower citizens, strengthen institutional capacity and encourage responsible environmental behaviour.

Over the years, we have worked with corporates, government institutions, industry bodies, development organisations, educational institutions and communities to advance environmental awareness and responsible resource management. Our initiatives seek to make sustainability accessible, inclusive and actionable, while creating platforms through which diverse stakeholders can participate in building a more circular and resource-efficient society.

We believe that sustainability must extend beyond compliance. It must become part of how we live, how we consume, how we use resources and how we collectively shape the future. This philosophy guides our work across environmental awareness, responsible waste management, circular economy, resource recovery and community engagement.

Partnerships are at the heart of this journey. Our collaborations with leading organisations, institutions and development partners have enabled us to bring together expertise, technology, resources and community participation to address environmental challenges in practical and scalable ways. We remain committed to building partnerships that create value not only for the environment, but also for society and future generations.

As we look ahead, our ambition is to strengthen Clean to Green as a platform for environmental action, innovation and inclusive participation—helping create greater awareness, encouraging responsible choices and supporting the transition towards a circular and sustainable economy.

I firmly believe that a cleaner and greener future will not be created by one organisation or one sector alone. It will be created by all of us—through the choices we make, the partnerships we build and the action we take today.

I invite you to join us in this journey and become part of a movement that transforms awareness into action and responsibility into impact.

Together, let us build a cleaner, greener and more sustainable India—for today and for generations to come.

About C2G Society

Grassroots delivery, technical rigour

Clean to Green Society™ (C2G) is a purpose-led non-profit organisation committed to advancing environmental awareness, responsible resource management and circular-economy participation across India. Launched in 2017, C2G has evolved from an awareness-led initiative into a credible sustainability platform that connects public participation, institutional engagement, responsible collection, programme implementation and evidence-based reporting. Through its work, C2G enables individuals, communities, corporates, educational institutions and public bodies to understand environmental issues, adopt responsible practices and contribute meaningfully to climate and sustainability action.

C2G works at the intersection of awareness, behaviour change, collection-linked action, CSR implementation, research, advisory and impact assessment. Its programmes are designed to move beyond communication alone by creating practical pathways for stakeholder engagement, responsible disposal, recycling-linked participation and measurable environmental outcomes.

Our work spans awareness and Information, Education and Communication (IEC) programmes; responsible collection and recycling-linked engagement; CSR programme design and implementation; Project Management Unit support; research, knowledge development and sectoral benchmarking; government and institutional partnerships; and employee-volunteering programmes. C2G also provides advisory and assessment support across need, baseline, midline and endline studies; social and environmental impact assessments; Social Return on Investment (SROI) evaluations; monitoring and evaluation frameworks; carbon-footprinting advisory; due diligence; CSR compliance and reporting; customised dashboards; and data systems. We also develop workshops, webinars, learning modules, IEC resources, toolkits and stakeholder-specific knowledge materials that make sustainability easier to understand and act upon.

Together, these services help organisations and institutions move from need identification, research and programme planning to stakeholder mobilisation, field implementation, evidence collection, performance review, impact assessment and reporting. Guided by a multidisciplinary Board, C2G is committed to transparent governance, responsible financial management, legal compliance and accountable programme delivery. By working with communities, businesses, educational institutions, public bodies and other stakeholders, C2G strengthens environmental awareness, responsible participation and sustainable action at scale.
